Rev Andrew Newman

Andrew Newman is the Chaplain of Calrossy Anglican School, having ‘received the baton’ from Rev John Jenner in 2007.

Growing up in Kiama and then Canberra, he taught Science for 3 years straight out of Macquarie University then retrained in Christian Ministry at Moore College.

During his 24 years in the Armidale Diocese he has served in the Guyra, Bundarra and Glen Innes Parishes and as a part-time Police Chaplain in the New England and Oxley Local Area Commands, always with a passion for youth. He’s currently a member of St Paul’s Anglican Church, West Tamworth.

Andrew is married to Margie and have 3 adult sons. He loves playing sports and music but is most energised by the vision of a school and a world that knows Jesus.
