2017 HSC Success

Calrossy has consistently been the best performing school in the New England and North West in the HSC. In recent years the School has had students top the State in Music and Primary Industries, with others placing in the top ten students within NSW.

We congratulate all our students of the class of 2017 for their outstanding effort and results in this  HSC. We have some great results including Eliza Falkenmire receiving five Band 6 results, an ATAR of 99.85 and being named on the All Rounders List.

Calrossy students achieved Fifty Seven band 6's (an incredible 32% of students in the year group), had 32 distinguished Achievers,  the highest ATAR in the New England and North West of NSW and 4 students in the top 10 in the state for their subjects.  Click here to see more details.

What was even more pleasing to see was that Calrossy was above the State averages for the number of students receiving Band Four and above and we were below for students awarded a Band Thee and lower. Put simply this means as a cohort Calrossy's Year 12 performed above the State average across all subjects, with more students receiving results in the top three bands.
