Vale Gloria Thew
The Calrossy community was sad to hear that on Christmas Day, 2020 Mrs Gloria Thew peacefully passed away at 97 years. Mrs Thew was a long time house mistress at Calrossy who contributed much to the Boarding community. A woman of deep Christian faith, she held students to high standards but was a wonderful mum to generations of girls who remember her fondly.
The memorial service for Mrs Thew is at St Peter’s South Tamworth on Tuesday 5th January at 1 pm, following a private family ceremony. Calrossy expresses our deepest condolences to her children John, Rosemary and Kathryn and to her extensive family! Gloria’s grandson Peter wrote that she has left behind a great legacy of faith and dedication. Mrs Thew’s contribution to Calrossy lives on in the generations she influenced!

As the school's transitional education program goes from strength to strength, Calrossy has also expanded prep in 2022 to offer programs three, four and five days a week.
