Facilities for Hire
Brisbane Street
The Calrossy Brisbane Street Campus is located in the heart of Tamworth and close to all amenities. There are three Boarding houses available for accommodation which include single, shared rooms or dormitories. The Peter Smart Auditorium is also available for Hire.
Accommodation
These spaces are comfortable and modern, with reverse cycle air conditioning and study areas. Brisbane Street access to the on-site pool, tennis courts and other recreational spaces.
Peter Smart Hall
The Peter Smart Hall is a medium size auditorium with parquetry flooring and elevated stage.
Facilities include:
- Floor Capacity 448 seated
- Floor and upstairs capacity 710 seated
- Lighting rig
- Audio visual screens
- Mezzanine level tiered seating.
- Adjoining toilet facilities
- Assisted wheelchair access
Simpson House
Simpson House is located on the corner of Tribe and Johnston Street approximately 1.9 kilometres from the Calrossy William Cowper Campus and provides single or shared room accommodation with kitchen and laundry facilities.
Simpson House has recreational facilities including a pool, recreation room, courtyard, and basketball area.
Simpson House is located within close proximity to the Northgate shopping complex.
William Cowper
Campus
A sprawling rural campus overlooking the city of Tamworth, it is home to Calrossy's Junior School and Calrossy Middle School who learn in single gender classrooms.
Bishop Peter Chiswell Hall
The Bishop Peter Chiswell Hall is the centrepiece of the William Cowper Campus.
It is a large multipurpose hall suitable for functions such as church services, sporting events, formals, musicals, and balls. Floor capacity, 800 seated. Floor & veranda capacity, 1100.

A full sized marked Rugby League/Union field with goalposts. Soccer nets, Cricket nets, Adjoining changerooms and toilet facilities.
