Calrossy is located in the vibrant regional centre of Tamworth and possesses a rich culture developed over 100 years. Calrossy is run under the auspices of the Anglican Diocese of Armidale, which is committed to introducing people to the Gospel of Jesus. We are focused on quality learning, holistic growth and promoting success for every student in an aspiring Christian environment. Our local and boarding students are equally as important to our community and we are centrally located to many nearby centres.

STUDENT PERSPECTIVES
Attending Calrossy 7-9 has been a transformative experience in class and as an individual. The structured classes are engaging, informative and fun, while the leadership opportunities are allowing me to grow as a person and grow my leadership skills.

Calrossy is such an amazing school that offers so many opportunities in all aspects of life and learning. They have phenomenal teachers that can provide me with the knowledge and opportunity to take me further in my studies and allow me to reach my full potential. Primary Industries especially is a great way for all students, regarding experience, to get hands on involvement in a farm/agricultural scene.

The Calrossy teaching staff provide many opportunities for us to extend ourselves, I was fortunate enough to be offered the opportunity to participate in the Science and Engineering Challenge of which we made it to the State final. The teachers at Calrossy are exceptionally enthusiastic and talented at their jobs with a real passion for their students and subjects.

We absolutely love the school. The staff, children and whole community are amazing. As a busy rural family we find everything so easy and the communication from the staff and school is next to none. The Prep itself would have to be my favourite aspect. I feel the program is a beautiful way for any child to begin their schooling years and we have found it a huge confidence booster for our boys. Not to mention a little head start into Kindergarten in regards to routine, learning and making friendships.
