BOARDING AT CALROSSY

A place where you belong.

Calrossy has always had boarding at its heart with a third of our Secondary students calling Calrossy home during the school term. We offer Boarding for girls and boys, on separate campuses, from Years 7 to 12.

COMMUNITY PERSPECTIVES

The Calrossy teaching staff provide many opportunities for us to extend ourselves. I was fortunate to be offered the opportunity to participate in the Science and Engineering Challenge where we made it to the State final. Our teachers are exceptionally enthusiastic and talented at their jobs with a real passion for their students and subjects.

Albert Smyth

Year 12 Student

We've been delighted with the Prep experience for Eva. She gets to feel like she's in 'big school', but we have the security and reassurance of the extra support that the smaller separate space within Calrossy provides. The extra morning drop off and later afternoon pickup and after school care have meant that we are able to manage working out of town and there have been many positives to Eva's educational experience.

Angell Harris

Junior School Parent

Calrossy is such an amazing school that offers so many opportunities in all aspects of life and learning. They have phenomenal teachers that can provide me with the knowledge and opportunity to take me further in my studies and allow me to reach my full potential. Primary Industries especially is a great way for all students, regarding experience, to get hands on involvement in a farm/agricultural scene.

Phebe McNamara

Class of 2024

I've been at Calrossy since Prep and the opportunities, academically, sporting and socially are amazing. The Expeditions and friendships have been a highlight for me. I feel my time at Calrossy will really help me into the future and it has also been great fun... thanks mum and dad.

Max Thompson

Class of 2024

I am a third-generation boarder here at Calrossy Anglican School. I have been supported and cared for over the last 6 years of my schooling, filled with friendships, laughter and growth. I've been supported every step of the way. There is never a dull moment in the boarding community.

Elinor Brooks

Boarder, Murrurundi.

Attending Calrossy 7-9 has been a transformative experience in class and as an individual. The structured classes are engaging, informative and fun, while the leadership opportunities are allowing me to grow as a person and grow my leadership skills.

Chelsea Smith

Year 9 Student Leader

The other benefit for us is that Calrossy provides a Christian education. I attended an Anglican all-girls school in Toowoomba Queensland for my own secondary education... Religion is an important part of our family.

Lauren Mayo

Parent

I'm really enjoying Calrossy 7-9...... especially the extra opportunities such as art club after school.

Charlie Coe

Middle School Student

We absolutely love the school. The staff, children and community are amazing. As a busy rural family we find everything so easy and the communication from staff and school is next to none. The Prep itself would have to be my favourite aspect as it is a beautiful way for any child to begin their schooling. We've found it a huge confidence booster for our boys and a head start into Kindergarten in regards of routine, learning and friendships.

Holly Goodman

Junior School Parent

eCalrossy has been a complete game changer for our family... it provides the interaction with her teacher and peers that she had been missing.

Bree Wakefield

eCalrossy Parent, Banoon Station, north-west of Mildura

Calrossy has given my children a great chance to learn about and respond to the message of a completely loving and forgiving Christ... I love that the school makes no secret of its desire for young people to know Jesus personally, but also employs staff with many different approaches to faith which enhances the educational environment by stimulating conversation, authenticity and questions. All are welcome.
