Boarding life at Calrossy has a strong focus on service, within the School, the Boarding house, to each other and the wider community.
Service
Students in Boarding regularly engage in service to others, this includes fundraising, sponsoring Compassion children and supporting the delivering of a breakfast program at a local primary school. The Boarding Community is fundamental in encouraging one another towards love, good deeds and service, fostering a supportive environment where these values are actively practiced and nurtured.
Charity projects are varied from Operation Christmas Child and youth mental health to Share the Dignity and timely causes such as drought relief and awareness.
Boarders are encouraged to be outwardly focused and engage with community groups, sports and co-curricular opportunities outside of school. Transport to all team and individual commitments, including those that are not school-based, is provided by the dedicated Boarding staff.
