At Calrossy agricultural opportunities flourish within one of the State's premier programs. Anchored by our own School farm, Tangara, and the renowned Kamilaroi Shorthorn and White Dorper Studs, students delve into a wealth of hands-on learning experiences.
Tending to livestock and pastures, co-ordinating an Oestrus Synchronisation program with a focus on breeding quality cattle that are commercially sought after. Our students are immersed in the full spectrum of agricultural practices of running a stud cattle and sheep property including, feeding, preparing, showing and marketing cattle and sheep for sale and competition, fencing, improving and maintaining pastures and controlling weeds.
Beyond the farm gates, our agricultural learning in the classroom and vocational training in Primary Industries sets benchmarks for excellence, empowering students with practical skills and knowledge vital for success. With a commitment to innovation and a nurturing environment, our School cultivates the next generation of agricultural leaders.
