This week at Calrossy, we are thrilled to celebrate World Kindness Day during our final Wellbeing Week of the year. It’s a time when every student is encouraged to “sprinkle kindness like confetti” with simple acts of kindness, spreading joy and positivity throughout our School community.

But this week is even more special, as we’re excited to unveil Kindness as our theme for the upcoming 2025 School year. Each year, Calrossy chooses a central theme that shapes and inspires our journey together. With Kindness as our focus, we aim to create a Christian culture where empathy, compassion, and generosity touch every aspect of our community. We want our community to be a kind and generous one, reflective of God's kindness to us all.

Wellbeing Week has always been a cherished part of Calrossy's culture, and this year, World Kindness Day adds an extra layer of meaning, coinciding with our last whole school Wellbeing Week of the year and the announcement on next year's Calrossy School theme.

This week, teachers, staff, and students are all taking the lead, setting the stage for the year to come. Our students are engaging in activities that show how a kind word, gesture, or smile can make a world of difference, not just within our school but beyond our gates.  Today we handed out more than 1000 bookmarks encouraging each student to share randoms act of kindness.

So, why not join us in celebrating? Embrace kindness today and every day as we work together to create a lasting, positive impact. Here’s to a bright future, and year ahead, filled with kindness at Calrossy!

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:32)
