Calrossy's Inaugural Car, Truck and Bike Show
Calrossy Anglican School’s William Cowper Campus transformed into a motoring enthusiast's dream, hosting its inaugural Twilight Car, Truck and Bike Show. The event dazzled attendees with a vibrant showcase of over 70 vehicles, drawing more than 300 visitors to an evening filled with community spirit, stunning craftsmanship, and shared passion
Local motoring enthusiasts showcased an impressive variety of vehicles, celebrating a shared passion for motoring history and craftsmanship.
From classic Kenworth trucks to stylish Harley-Davidson motorcycles, the diversity on display underscored the community’s enthusiasm for this unique event.
Mick Wilson, Secretary of the Calrossy P&F, expressed gratitude and excitement for the turnout. “It didn’t matter whether you preferred Kenworths, Macks, Harleys, Indians, or Fords and Holdens; this event was about bringing people together to have fun. As our first show, we’ve learned so much and are already looking forward to improving for the next one. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did.”
The event also served as a platform for community engagement and support, with the Moore Creek Rural Fire Brigade benefiting from a gold coin donation at the gate. Captain Ben Young appreciated the opportunity to connect with attendees and discuss bushfire safety. “It was fantastic to meet so many community members and raise awareness ahead of the 2024/25 fire season. We were amazed by the quality of the vehicles and the conversations we had throughout the evening.”
The event would not have been possible without the generous support of sponsors, including CustomZ Detailing, who donated major prizes, and the tireless efforts of volunteers, food vendors, and the Calrossy Catering team.
The P&F’s Twilight Car, Truck and Bike Show highlighted Calrossy’s commitment to fostering community spirit and creating memorable experiences. Events like these align with the school’s values of inclusiveness, resilience, and selflessness while supporting meaningful local causes.
As the engines cooled and the evening drew to a close, one sentiment echoed among attendees: excitement for the next event in 2025.
