Music Scholarship

Applications for Scholarships for entry into 2024 are now closed.  Scholarship applications for entry in 2025 will open on Monday, October 3, 2023.  

This award will be made to a student who, in the opinion of the Principal, will be able to make an enthusiastic and valuable contribution to the musical life of the School; and one who will benefit from attendance at the School in general education and musical experience. The award is made subsequent to the candidate’s performance before an audition panel.

The award will be tenable for the duration of attendance at Calrossy Anglican School, subject to

  • Exemplary Attitude
  • Academic Application
  • Whole Hearted Participation in School Ensembles

It is also a requirement that, while holding the scholarship, the student would continue to participate fully in the musical life of the school and study music as a subject from Year 9. The award will be made as part remission of fees going into Years 7 - 11. Private musical tuition remains the responsibility of the individual student.

  • A minimum standard of AMEB 3rd Grade or equivalent in performance experience is required for all applicants entering Year 7
  • A minimum standard of AMEB 5th Grade or equivalent in performance experience is required for all applicants entering Year 9
  • A  minimum standard of AMEB 6th  Grade or equivalent in performance experience is required for applicants entering Year 11/12
