Visual Arts Scholarship
This award will be made to a student who, in the opinion of the Principal, will be able to make an enthusiastic and valuable contribution to Visual Arts at Calrossy while a student at the school. To encourage students with a desire to study Art seriously and to use their abilities to their fullest potential. Calrossy Anglican School offers Visual Arts Scholarships to students entering Years 9 and 11.
This award will be tenable for the duration of attendance at Calrossy Anglican School, subject to
- The student continuing to study Visual Arts for the remainder of her education at the school
- Exemplary Attitude
- Academic Application
For students entering Year 9 the student must present the following to be considered:
- Major artworks undertaken in the previous 2 years which should demonstrate skill, or an intuitive handling of materials, and originality or uniqueness
- Visual Process Diaries which should reflect a willingness to engage in the recoding of artistic practice in a thorough and unique or more original level
- School reports for Visual Arts for the previous 2 years
- Outline of any workshops or outside tuition undertaken by the student
- A letter from the student explaining why they are deserving of the scholarship
For students entering Year 11 the student must present the following to be considered:
- Body of Work undertaken in the previous 2 years which should demonstrate skill, or intuitive handling of materials, and originality or uniqueness

- School reports for Visual Arts for the previous 2 years
